Witton look to start another winning run on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Kidsgrove Athletic to the U Lock It Stadium in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.
The fixture sees the return of former Albion manager Scott Dundas as Kidsgrove Athletic boss.
Their unbeaten run came to an end last weekend at Clitheroe and the margin was probably wider than most people anticipated.
With that defeat and results elsewhere meant Witton slipped to tenth in the table but still within reasonable touching distance of the play offs and with games in hand.
A hastily-arranged friendly away at North West Counties League South Division Cheadle Heath Nomads in midweek, saw Albion get much-needed game time in a 3-3 draw after having only one outing in almost three weeks.
The game sees Albion’s first home fixture in over a month, the last two scheduled home league games being postponed due to the weather.
Witton’s last home league game being the 4-2 win against Runcorn Linnets on 2nd January.
The retun fixture at the Autonet Stadium finished all-square in a 1-1 draw with Mike Koral giving Albion the lead before Kidsgrove equalised through substitute Aaron Bott shortly after coming on.
One familiar face to a lot of Witton fans will be midfielder Kyle Diskin, who had a spell with the club during Scott Dundas time in charge.
Witton will be looking to climb the table and get closer to the play off places but Kidsgrove will not be an easy hurdle to overcome.
Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 3pm.
