Full Time Score from The U Lock It Stadium:

Witton Albion 2 Kidsgrove Athletic 1.

Five wins on the run and into the top ten in the table.

A massive game on Tuesday night when we welcome league leaders Widnes to the U Lock It Stadium with a 7.45pm kick off.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the pitch fund collection at today’s game.

The total amount raised was £250.

Thank you as always to Tracey Collins for her amazing efforts.

What a cracking win! Great football first half if not a bit wasteful with chances, a slack moment and Kidsgrove get one to level.

Second half they upped their tactic of time wasting, fouling at every challenge and being in the Ref’s face. Not a great watch but we dug in and battled well despite the referee being awful!

We won the match with a pearler of a free kick from James Hooper, that is probably a contender for goal of the season.

5 wins on the bounce is fantastic, leaving us 10th 4 points behind Stalybridge with 2 games in hand.

What a transformation. UTA

Listening to Ben after the game, they will be appealing Harry Brazel’s Red card as he was nowhere near the incident.

Whether it gets overturned or not we’ll have to wait and see.

Totally agree with C.J., we outplayed Kidsgrove first half creating chance after chance pity we did not score a few more.

I thought second half was more even they slowed the game down a lot, wasting every moment they had it looked like a draw until Hooper’s stunning free kick.

Overall a deserved win for us, these new players have made a massive difference to the team more energy and work rate there is still hope for play offs. :+1:
