I am sure they would have prefered a Saturday as it is a 310 mile round trip and at least 3.5 hours each way on a coach!!!
As both Leek and Lincoln are in the bottom three at the moment it could mean that both are scrapping for survival!
Without wanting to disrespect Leek in any way. I’d rather be facing Leek at home midweek than Lincoln away - we know how difficult a place Lincoln is to go and get a result.
Agree completely however Leek at home does not offer particularly good memories after last season, a win or a draw and maybe we would have gone up!
We could be here all day with ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’…
