Witton Albion v Leigh Genesis Sat 25th Oct

Enough gloom and doom let’s look forward to saturdays game. Understand we have Val Owen on loan for 2 or 3 weeks - he looked in the time he played at Nantwich the type of midfield player we are lacking. Obviously lacking match fitness he is an experienced box to box player. Reuben Wiggins-Thomas started brightly but faded, could be he is short of games as well. Leigh have not scored many goals so far but have not conceded many either so we could be in for another tough game.

Keep the faith.

Val Owen not a bad player when he was with us 6 or 7 years ago probably past it now though suffers with to many injuries:P

He looked OK for the first hour last night, but is not 100% match fit. He can still play a bit though and added experience that we have been missing. At 38 is unlikely to be in his prime but he may help to steady the ship!

You do him an injustice, he is a young 37 year old

Not that there is anything wrong with being 38 of course!!!

Let’s hope that against Genesis we can see a Revelation that is a Testament to our ability to survive the summer’s Exodus.
(Praying for a win)
