Can we please announce at the Worksop game what the charge will be for this game - it was bleeding rip off charging £9 f**king quid for the CSC Congleton game.

Agreed.
But doesn’t it have to be an agreement between both Clubs and the FA before you can reduce the admission prices?
It would be a realistic way of getting a reasonable crowd in.
It would be fair on any LG supporters to let them see their team perform in Northwich’s premier stadium without feeling they were being fleeced.

Totally agree with the sentiments stated so far in this thread, but unfortunately, these decisions are out of our hands. We are not the only receipients of the cash generated from cup games, and as such, the admission prices are determined by the various FA/League committees.
Rule 11, page 15 of the Mid Cheshire handbook states that all admission should be the normal price charged.
Yet another reason why we shouldn’t be in this competition IMO
I’m sure the 3 parties can liase to agree a sensible compromise (i know V*cs, Telford, and the FA agreed to reduce the prices for their re-arranged FA Cup game).
Either that or include a program/golden goal/raffle ticket into the admission price.
You can’t justify charging £9 for this game. Personally i wont pay it; i’d rather give £9 to the Club in another fashion, such as via the Development Fund.
Being brutally honest a fiver is too much!
If it is 9 pound then I suggest as many people as poss do what Robbo suggests, that way the club would receive the full 9 pound and not 3 pound after the split between Lostock n Mid Cheshire FA.
Please leave it with me, I will do my best, but the decision is out of our hands.
If we did it off our own bat, we would be hugely out of pocket, as we would still have to pay the FA and Lostock their full share (i.e. If we did charge £5, we would still have to pay the FA £1.80, and Lostock £3.60 per adult).
If I was not doing the gate then I would not be attending the Lostock Gralam game - not at £9 ( I will donate an undecided amount instead ) - rules are for the guidance of fools - come on Mid Cheshire FA sort it out. Count the game as Lostock being at home and comprimise on £4 adults and £2 concessions and kids free.
I will not be attending the CSC at Altrincham either - not at £12
Just the FA’s way of extorting more money that it alledgedly spends on grass roots. I played in a cup match against a team in the division above Lostock and had to pay the customary £3 match subs. Certainly not paying £9 just to watch.
Whilst I agree that the club would do financially better if everyone were like me at the moment, paying the entrance fee but not actually going to the game, the team need supporters at the game. It is wrong that the price is so high but that is not the club’s fault so please don’t penalise them by not attending. However, if like me you find you cannot go to games why not do the same as me and make a donation to the Fund?
WHS.
I have had a reply from Lostock Gralams’ secretary, and have also met the Mid-Cheshire District FA tonight, and they have agreed to our request to reduce admission prices for this game.
Admission will be £5 for adults and £3.50 for all other concessions.
Well done Jeff, common sense prevails, out of interest how is the gate split?
Witton 40%
Lostock 40%
MCDFA 20%
Well done to all concerned for making the correct decision.
I must point out that the MCDFA did say this is a one-off due to the vast difference between Lostocks’ and Wittons’ usual league admission price, and we may not be able to do the same against teams which are more akin to our normal admission price.
Robbo " well done to all concerned "
Am I included in that all - if not I will keep my good ideas to myself in future.
May I suggest that all who go to the game donate a few quid to the fund seeing as they are saving £4 on the entrance price. None of this donation would have to go to the FA ot Lostock.
WHS.
