The season’s finale is almost upon us and Witton are still pushing for a play off spot.
Saturday afternoon sees Newcastle Town visit the U Lock It Stadium in what is the penultimate home game of the season.
Victory over neighbours 1874 Northwich on Monday settled one aspect of the season, confirming their relegation but Albion’s focus is still on reaching the top five.
Newcastle Town go into the game in fourteenth place in the table and will be looking to prevent Albion from completing a league double, following their victory at the Red Industries Stadium earlier in the season.
Goals from Harry Brazel and Connor Hughes secured the points for the Albion after Newcastle Town had gone in front.
Newcastle Town’s recent form has been disappointing having suffered four defeats in their last six games but they did make Champions Leek Town work in order to secure the title, only losing narrowly.
Witton will need to be at their best in order to secure the points in what will not be an easy game for them.
Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 3pm.

We need to keep winning and injuries are a problem but we can still put out a pretty good team, I would go with :
Roberts
Koral, Lowton, Harrison, Jackson
Brazel, Newell, Taylor Kennerley
Rokka
Pope, Hughes
I guess tho Jon will go with Duckworth and Lawrie but I feel they are out of form and need resting!
Good luck whoever plays. UTA
I don’t know what you have against Duckworth but he put the ball through for Rokka to score and ran his backside off last Monday!
He won most headers and did everything other than score. No offence to Connor but he hardly moved, although he did score.
Duckworth should have scored before half time but did everything but that!
I have nothing against him at all but he’s not playing well.
Neither is Connor really but he does look like he can score.
Just an opinion. UTA
His work rate allows Connor to score! If you look at last week’s game he did all of the running and Connor scored - the week before Pope was on (and no offence to him some weeks it works) but he can’t move neither can Connor.
It’s all about opinions but I don’t think Ducky & Rokka get the credit for their performance. Lawrie against Hednesford touched the ball 3 times in the first half. Can’t fault his work rate but he doesn’t put a tackle in!
He’s everywhere but not in midfield and spends most of the time pointing at everyone else.
I read the comments on here some weeks and think people must be watching a different game than me.
Anyway let’s hope for the 3 points tomorrow.
It is all about opinions, I would say that the main thing is they are all putting a shift in when called upon. I’ll leave it to JM to choose what he thinks will get us the 3 points. UTA
