Witton go in search of silverware on Tuesday night, when they take on Northwich Victoria in the Mid Cheshire District FA Senior Cup Final at the U Lock It Stadium.

Witton reached the final by overcoming Winsford United in the semi final on penalties whilst Northwich beat 1874 Northwich to secure their place in the showpiece.

League form goes out of the window on occasions like this but both teams will be wanting to put in a performance and hopefully claim the prize.

Witton go into the final in decent form whilst Northwich have found life difficult in the Midland Football League.

Victory over Newcastle Town at the weekend will give Witton confidence whilst Northwich managed a narrow win in the fixture at Romulus after a demoralizing defeat to league leaders Congleton Town last midweek.

Both teams can put their respective league form aside for a little while.

Cup football can bring all kinds of results and the game will be completed on the night.

Witton will have to be at their best if they are to avoid a cup upset.

Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 7.45pm.
