Witton look to extend their unbeaten run to four games on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Ramsbottom United in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.

Victories against 1874 Northwich & Widnes FC followed by a tough Cheshire Senior Cup tie against North West Counties South Division Ashville FC, which went to penalties have seen an improvement in the last few weeks.

Ramsbottom like Albion, are currently in the lower reaches of the league table but a place below them so another tough test is in prospect.

The Rams last four games have produced mixed results with two wins and two defeats, the latest being a 5-3 home defeat to Skelmersdale United last weekend.

The last league meeting between the two clubs was back in February 2015, a very close game saw Witton clinch the points with a 2-1 home win after losing the return fixture 3-2 in Lancashire the same season.

Both teams have a lot to play for as they both look to climb the table and put distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 3pm.
