Witton look to secure their place in the First Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Challenge Cup on Tuesday night, when they welcome South Liverpool to the U Lock It Stadium for the Preliminary Round replay.
Saturday’s game proved to be a real test in challenging conditions and it really could have gone either way particularly towards the end after South Liverpool’s late equaliser.
The Witton management team will be hoping that the injuries sustained to players will have eased somewhat, as they prepare for what could prove to be another difficult game.
The prospect of a home draw will have given Witton added incentive to progress but they will know that they will have to earn the right to go through.
They tie will be played to a finish on the night with the possibility of extra time and penalties, but Ben and his staff will be hoping to avoid that and get the game finished in normal time.
Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 7.45pm.
