Can we have that ref every game? thought some of the football today was bril, opponents poor but still had to be beaten. Dont know if thats been spaldings ploy all season, to try and kick opponents off the park but we beat them by playing football, and great football at that, hope ryans injury is nothing serious. good luck to boothy with his recovery and as all have mentioned before speedy and full recovery to super Mike.

As expected 3 pts against the whipping boys from Spalding. They brought 1(one)supporter
1(one)Director.the mangager.kitman and the players. New boy Brown did well and scored a good goal but we have lost Ryan Broadhead for a couple of weeks now with a hamstring injury. Pete Heler if suspended will also be a big miss.

We need points on our trips to Rusahll and Mickleover this week to get back on track for a play-off spot.

But what concerns me most are the attendances - less than 150 paying to come in is not enough to sustain a push for promotion and would certainly not be enough for us to survive in the Premier League. A lot of people are working very hard to keep this club going and excuses for not attending like - " can’t be arsed " " watching rugby on the TV " etc are not helping.

A great opening quarter to the game, 3 very good goals and could have been more. The delivery and header for the first goal were excellent, Brown struck his shot into the bottom corner very sweetly and Heler picked his spot superbly for the free-kick.

The difference between the first half and second half can probably be put down to one difference, Ryan Broadhead. In the first half he was chasing down the ball from their defenders and was the ‘engine’ in everything we did coming forward. His absence in the second half showed and we will miss him over the next couple of weeks. We have certainly been unlucky with the number of injuries, hopefully Brown (who had a good debut), Morgan (who looked strong when and came on) and Henry can all replace what Broadhead brings to the side.

The second half ended up being a little bit dull but frankly I’ll take that every week if we are 3 up after 21 minutes! We never looked in any danger and Grundy will not need his kit washing for Tuesday night’s game.

I though both full backs did well yesterday, in particular McAllister who was strong in the air and on the deck. Lamb worked hard but for me still needs to put more in the net, but three goals from midfielders underlines the importance of getting goals from throughout the team.

A very good first half performance, sharp and accurate passing with bags of energy. We’re going to need to repeat the first 20 minutes more regularly over the last 10 games.

More regularly in the same game would be nice!!!

good result against a poor team ,dont think they had as shot on target all afternoon. very good first half the goals were well taken , some good croses getting into the box both full backs played very well imo. 2nd half poor, one or two chances, couple of good saves from their keeper kept the score down .Good ref tried to let us play football, why was their player sent off? didnt get a good view of it.
Another 3 points will do on tuesday.
