A terrific performance and cracking game to watch albeit in horrible conditions.
Witton were slow to start as Vauxhall were all over us but slowly we grew into the game and started to control things with our 4 5 1 working well, with Deji Sotona a wide attacking outlet and the midfield 3 dominating play with Hoyle terrific as the sole striker he worked so hard for the team.
We fully deserved our lead following excellent play and finished with aplomb by Edwards. Bairstow added a second off a good cross with a great header and 3-0 achieved via a great cross by Edwards to the back post for Dufton-Kelly to drive home.
The Motormen grabbed a consolation through ex Witton man Sambor but really Witton should have finished with 5 or 6 goals to the good, with missed chances including a penalty blazed over by Edwards but no matter a really good 3 points against a pretty dirty and good Vauxhall side. UTA
