Thoughts? Hope their moaning fans don’t turn up, always whinging!
Haven’t seen a poor team in this league yet.
Whitby won away at Worksop on Wednesday and have the second top scorer in the division (although he has scored 4 penalties-whatever they are!).
Like every game it’ll be difficult but one that we are more than capable of winning if we play as we know we can.
What’s good for the goose is good for the gander
Don’t be fooled by the lowly league position. Nobody has really turned them over, and when they have played teams at the top of the division, they have usually only lost by the odd goal. In the FA Cup, they beat Droylsden.
We will need to be at our best to get all 3 points.
Beware of the word complacency!
Talk of taking ANY team lightly i think is irrelevant after the games against Cammel Lairds last season.
We know what this team can do. We also know what can happen if we aren’t 100% on our game.
Pritch and the boys know this as much as anybody else.
I’m sure we will be fired up, and hopefully at five quid a family it’ll be excellent value for money!!
Agree completely our biggest opponent is complacency - Pritch will know this but it can be hard to shake it out of a team sometimes and I also agree that this league is pretty even, so no super teams but also no really bad ones I think most games this seasom will be tough, which makes it a good league in my book
Witton Under 9s have just kicked off their league game with Hartford U9s on the pitch behind WP.
