Witton look to improve on a poor run of form on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Widnes to the U Lock It Stadium in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture.

With their involvement in cups now over for another year they can concentrate on the league as they go in search of much-needed points.

Widnes have begun the season in good form and have climbed to eighth in the table but Albion can move into the top half of the table with victory.

Consistency has been hampered by injuries to key players, but that gives others the opportunity to push themselves into the management team’s plans.

Goals have been a problem for Jon Macken’s team in recent weeks, and that is showing in the statistics so far with leading scorer Joe Duckworth on four Goals going into this weekend’s games.

Every game is important but Witton need to put a run together as they look to rise up to you the business end of the table.

Widnes will prove difficult opponents and Albion will need to perform in order to pick up the three points.

Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 3pm.

Pressure on to get a win here after a poor run, team wise hard to know because of our injuries!

Really could do with Hughes, Koral and Martin back to kickstart a run of wins which we are more than capable of. UTA

What a great gutsy win not a classic but battled through, the changes were positive and at least.

We had a go at them well in lads and pleased for Jon who must feel better after that win.

Cain was injured, Rokka and Duckworth dropped from the squad for this game. UTA
