Three wins in a row sees Witton climb three places to eleventh in the table.
We are next in action next Saturday when we travel to Clitheroe in a Northern Premier League West Division fixture with a 3pm kick off.
Well, it ended well with a valuable 1-0 win courtesy of a good Joe Duckworth strike very late on!
However, it was not a great display for sure we were missing Alfie Bairstow through injury! Ben Lowe is not his replacement, it may have been better to put Hamman in there and play one of the 2 full backs on the bench in his place which we did later on.
The game was scrappy with few chances either way, think we had 3 in total they maybe had 2 so not a game for the purists lol.
My pick were Brazel and Terry, let’s hope Alfie is not out too long. UTA
Wythenshawe Town’s ninth game without a win and their fourth without scoring.
Always difficult against teams in their position because they scrap for everything and show determination.
No disrespect to them but, the leakiest defence in the league so perhaps we could have made more of the chances we created, however few they were.
