Witton Albion v. Wythenshawe Town

Witton look to continue their recent good form when they welcome Wythenshawe Town to the U Lock It Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

An excellent win and performance at in-form Bootle last weekend was hard earned where Witton had to dig in at times to keep the play off chasers out.

Wythenshawe Town pose a different set of problems for Ben Harrison’s team but hopefully, Witton will be able to get the better of the strugglers in what will still be a difficult test.

The further extension of midfielder Alfie Bairstow’s loan from Salford City for another month was welcome, although he is likely to be missing for this game due to injury but hopefully it won’t keep him out for too long.

Wythenshawe Town currently sit second bottom in the league table and are without a win since beating Trafford on New Year’s Day a run of eight games, so will be looking to put that right.

The return fixture earlier in the season saw Albion on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline so they will be doing everything they can in order to prevent their opponents from completing a league double.

Players Astley Mulholland and Domaine Rouse have assumed managerial duties for Town so they will a plan in place to try and get the right result.

Witton are still looking to push further up the table and finish as high as they can, so three points in this game will certainly help in that respect.

Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 3pm.

Well this will be a test, if only we were playing a top 3 side lol.

Team wise if everyone is fit I would go

Terry

Hamman, Ebhote, Bembo-Leta, Dam Sotona

Dej Sotona, Brazel, Lawrie, Bairstow, Edwards

Hoyle

Could argue for a right full back in and Hamman in for Lawrie but we are playing well so, no reason to change imo.

Good luck lads. UTA

I think Bairstow is injured. I would put hamman in midfield and put a right back on?

Ben mentioned it in his programme notes and I’ve included it in the preview.
