What a brilliant result achieved without a striker on the pitch after Rob went off too. There is a problem though as The FA website says we LOST 0-2. They’ll have to sort that out or else Rushden will be in the draw bag for the next round!!
A thoroughly professional job with 100% commitment from the whole team . Best I have seen for a while, thankfully because we ditched the long ball game and played passing football . Well done Witton .
Great win against a pretty tough team, and after losing Rob Hopley doubly so ! but the lads showed superb spirit and application to get the job done with Tom Owens out of position upfront doing a great job for the team, the back 5 were very good and to a man were back to our best playing some nice football on the deck ! bring on the next round UTA

Brilliant performance we never looked in any danger throughout the game we were in complete control, just nice to see some movement upfront off Hopley’s hold up play. River makes such a massive difference in the organisation at the back, looked a different side from Tuesday brilliant reaction from the lads.
And a special mention to the 2 minute silence before the game, I have never observed anything like that was a special moment, thank you to all involved in putting that together.
Agree The 2 minutes silence really was excellent and the “last post” playing and the flag lowering was a really nice touch well done everyone. UTA
