First game of the season for me, hard earned victory.

Defensively excellent but going forward still lacking. Saunders looks like he’ll score goals but he needs more service. However we are moving up the table.

Not a match that will live too long in the memory, but another well taken goal by Callum Saunders, who is looking to be a decidedly astute acquisition for the Albion after their indifferent start to the season.

And Witton do look to be a far better proposition when defending a lead, rather than when chasing the game after going a goal or two down, as was often the case a few weeks ago.

A good result defensively solid & some decent football at times. I thought Josh Wardle and Nick Ryan kept 2 decent forwards relatively quiet and James Lawrie and Nathan Okome played well in midfield & without jinxing him, it looks like we have a goalscorer in Callum Saunders. And also not a bad crowd even if they were a bit quiet vocally.

What a difference a few weeks make!!
