Through to the Second Round and £3,000 safely banked where we host neighbours Nantwich Town on Tuesday night with a 7.45pm kick off.
Thank you to everyone who donated to the Pitch Fund Collection at today’s game.
The total raised was £175.
A good solid team performance after a long lay off, we have a very good squad at Witton with no big time Charlie’s a squad that play for each other and the club .
I thought second half arguably we could have scored 3 or 4 and Scott Bakkor was pulled down a couple of times that could have been penalties. A good effort and a very well done to the ground staff and volunteers who got the pitch playable.
Without being at our best football wise, we always seemed in control of the game. Bridge could not score our back 5 and keeper were excellent again. Everyone put a shift in on a heavy pitch but, well done all the volunteers after so much rain and great to see Rob Hopley back again. 2 decent goals from Will Jones and Isaac Baldwin, who was my mom. Lets hope we can keep this run going. UTA
