Witton begin a run of three successive home games on Tuesday evening, when they welcome Belper Town to Wincham Park in an Emirates FA Challenge Cup Second Qualifying Round Replay. It could stretch to four as Rushall Olympic will visit the winners in the next round. The first ever FA Challenge Cup game between the two ended as a dour affair, hence the reason we have another chance to hopefully complete the task. The Nailers are unbeaten for a reason and the replay will be another tough examination but Wincham Park has so far become something of a fortress this season. Financially, the game is worth a five-figure sum with the prospect of progressing even further in the competition but then, Belper will be thinking exactly the same thing. The tie has to be settled on the night so there could be some tense moments for both teams but the incentives are getting bigger as the competition progresses. There’s still that possibility of an upset but Witton will be going all out to make sure that doesn’t happen. Witton’s form at home has been excellent and if tbey are to continue in that manner, it will need to be again. Kick off at Wincham Park is 7.45pm.
