How many games have we won since firth, reeves and Ellison went back to their parent clubs?
Carl did a great job turning the season round, but he has a lot of work to do to turn us into promotion contenders.
Watching the games V spennymoor and Harrogate I’d say we’d need 6 new players for the starting 11.

Agree mate but more importantly we need to be bringing in more players on contract/long term deals in my opinion. This seasons policy of endless short term loan deals clearly hasn’t worked.
Yeah totally agree, the last time we went up we had our back 5 in place the season before. I’d hoped we’d have done that to give us a solid base to build from. Personally think we need a keeper and 2 centre backs before we can do that.
We’ve had a class keeper this season and some good centre backs too, the problem is they only played half a dozen games or so and moved on again. Continuity is key at any level of football.
Carl did say at the forum that Loans will be less prominent next season as we look to stabilise the squad, but the loans have certainly helped us this season up to a point, I think we will see at least 6 new players in the squad next season. UTA
Hope so CJ. Can’t ever remember a season like this one turning up to games and having to ask who some of the players are every week. Yes it has happened in previous seasons but not as much as this one.
