A strange game little flow or good football but competitive, Burscough are well organised, work veryhard and defended well in numbers but showed little else I thought we were below par and disappointed to be honest, nothing from the wings and we missed Newton I thought, up front we had little luck but mainly huffed and puffed, midfield struggled to create given the compact nature of the match, and Parker struggled not surprisingly at left back given he is a right footed winger lol, I think this just shows how thin our squad is. The top 5 are likely to be the playoff teams I think now with a small chance of Clitheroe sneaking in.

A game of two halves IMHO . good first half and I thought we have a chance. Second half fell apart ,long balls inability to get the second ball and generalised panic play . Midfield AWOL .Burscough were better today with their solid defence . well, honours shared as both teams won away games .Oh Witton we love you .
UTA.

You’ve probably got four teams now fighting for one Play Off place. I would say Farsley are still in with a chance as well. We’ve still only lost three from the last fifteen games in all competitions. IMHO I would say the two draws at Radcliffe and Harrogate have probably done more damage to our chances than today.

strange game today, players seems below par, Burscough know how to play a ref, falling and screaming with every tackle, but as I said below par performance from us. IMO Hoppo was at bit isolated today , no one following up from midfield from his knock downs, Really need a good mid field enforcer for next season, someone to take the game by the scruff of the neck . lets hope for a strong finish to the season, UTA
