As we are all too painfully aware, our football club has lost some popular characters in recent seasons to an illness that continues to cause great sadness to families and communities.
There will be Witton supporters who are currently battling cancer, or who have close family members or friends who have been affected by the disease.
On Sunday 10th May a group of Witton supporters will be running/walking in the Manchester 10k to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support.
Whilst this will primarily be in memory of Tony Waterman, Martin Chesworth, and Sam Stanley (with family members of all 3 taking part), we would like to invite any other Witton fans who wish to join us to come along on the day and raise money for a great cause.
We will be setting up a JustGiving page in due course and further informatiion will appear here as and when we have it.
