MATCH ABANDONED DUE TO FOG.
I hope that the ref consulted with WHS before he made his decision!
With today’s other results and our game not finishing, we have dropped down to 7th in the league.
Well we battered Carlton for most of the game that did take place and 1-0 didn’t reflect what the score could/should have been when it was abandoned. Their keeper made a couple of good saves and a couple of fortuitous ones to keep the score down, aided and abetted by some wayward shooting a poor last pass. That said it looked like Carlton had scored on the stroke of half time only for the ref to blow for half tame as the Carlton player shaped up to shoot. Hey ho on we go.
Only having played 14 league games at Christmas. It looks like we will need 2 squads in the new year to get all our games in !! Its been a fantastic first half of the season and we have been wonderfully entertained. I am sure there’s more excitement and fab football to come from a team that never gives up, no matter what.
Happy Christmas to everyone at the club. Have a good one - you deserve it !! A team to be proud of and one I am sure we will all enjoy watching for a long time to come
What was the difference with today’s conditions and the conditions when we kicked off against Boston?
What was the difference with today’s conditions and the conditions when we kicked off against Boston?
Havn’t the foggiest.
Apparently the laws have changed re fog. Instead of being able to see both goals from the half way line it is now you must be able to see the diagonally opposite corner flag. Cannot find where this rule is written down.
WHS.
How do you know this WHS?
