Witton Albion vs Chester FC (Pre Season Friendly)

Witton welcome Chester FC to The NetDec Stadium on Thursday night in their first “Home” Pre Season Friendly. The National League Club have undergone a big change in personnel during the close season after narrowly escaping relegation at the end of the last campaign. A number of last season’s squad have moved on and a rebuilding process has begun. Early results in Pre Season have proved promising as they prepare for another league programme. Witton having kept the basis of last season’s promotion winning squad together, will look to make further progress in the Evo-Stik Premier Division. A tough encounter can be expected despite this being a “friendly” as both teams look to go into their respective league’s in a positive frame of mind. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 7.30pm.

Looking forward to this game, hopefully we have a much stronger looking side out tonight than Saturday whe it felt like we have too many trialists out. UTA

Just noticed at the top of the forum all the midweek games have a 7 30pm kick off? Is this right?

That was the information relayed to me when the games were arranged. This will only apply to the Pre Season Friendlies unless stated otherwise.

That was’‘miles’’ better, ALL the players looked good, at least as good as Chester . We will have a better team this time by the look of things, Carl keeps on producing, so cant wait for the start !
