Progress made to the Second Qualifying Round and £3000 in the Bank.

Anyone know any reasons why the attendance was so low?

i think TT the fa cup has lost it’s pulling power from the prem all the way down to our level

Plus we are not playing well at all, season tickets don’t count so some choose not to pay extra, and kids don’t go free so a few others choose to miss this one out on cost grounds and Farsley brought next to no one.

On the game it was god awful a strange team selection to say the least but 2 very nice goals get us through, I suppose a number of injuries and suspensions are hitting us now and we have not the quality in depth to cover it, we barely strung 2 passes together plenty of effort and energy though and we severely miss Gary Roberts quality ! good job we have no game until Saturday to give the injured chance to get fit for Kendal or the chance to make a signing or three ? we certainly need them.

The Second Qualifying Round is scheduled for the weekend of Saturday, 26th September which means our Evo-Stik Division One North fixture at Harrogate Railway Athletic, will now be re arranged.

A strange game infront of a strangely low crowd! Will take the win without playing that well two really good goals, the first after superb work By John Dawson beating two defenders and getting the ball to Titch and the second an amazing touch and overhead kick by the young development squad player on his debut!

I couldn’t make it to the game today so I can’t comment on the performance but last season when we played poorly we got beat and sometimes by a large margin. So if we can be off our game and still get the win that’s great.
Still very early days and I’m confident this team will gel and we’ll be in for a good season.

£5,000 earned from the FA Cup is simply wonderful no matter how it is done. A run to the 1st Round Proper would sort out or finances nicely!!
Who cares how your team win, only none supporters.
WHS.

theres probably 15-20 teams that played well today in the cup but got knocked out.we’re through so who cares.

Spot on CJ!

A win is a win is a win.

Yep progress and play poorly is always a bonus and when we play at Old Trafford in the 3rd round no one will care about how we beat Farsley!

There is a but though- for those of us who paid 9 quid to be entertained yesterday we were robbed!!!

I’ve seen 3 home games so far and have no clue as to our methods would love to see 3 passes put together and a little bit of guile-can’t fault the endeavour and effort though!
