Witton welcome fellow play off hopefuls Farsley Celtic to The NetDec Stadium on Saturday afternoon in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Yorkshire club have continued their impressive form this season, following their promotion from Evo-Stik North as Play Off winners. The loss of prolific goalscorer James Walshaw might have presented a problem to them but they’ve performed well and kept pace with the chasing pack near the top of the table. The current position of both clubs makes the game a “six-pointer” with Witton trailing their opponents by six points but with two games in hand. A victory for either side would be a huge boost to their play off aspirations but particularly for Witton as it gets them within one win of Celtic whilst still having the two extra games to play. Farsley have always proved to be difficult opposition and current form suggests this game will be no different. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.
