Witton Albion vs Farsley Celtic.

Witton welcome play off chasing Farsley Celtic to The NetDec Stadium on Tuesday night in their penultimate home fixture of the season. The first of three league fixtures in the space of five days as the season draws to an end but with Witton’s chances of a top five spot finally over. Farsley have hit form in recent weeks and it appears to have come at the right time for them but, Witton will be looking to finish what has been an excellent season as high as they possibly can. They can still play a decisive role in who makes the play offs but not in the way they would’ve hoped. The fixture also gives Albion the chance to end a run which has seen them win only one of their last eight games, and none in the last five. They can still take a lot of positives out of the campaign and that must stand them in good stead for the challenge ahead next season but, there are still nine points to play for and Witton will be giving it everything. The return fixture a recently saw Witton come away from West Yorkshire with a point and it’s still hard to believe that they didn’t win that night but it’s history now. A top ten finish at the beginning of the season would’ve been fantastic and they’re still on for that. The players & management deserve so much credit for what they’ve achieved this season and it’s not over yet. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 7.45pm.
