Details for our upcoming home fixture against FC United of Manchester
Witton Albion take on FC United of Manchester in the BetVictor Northern Premier League Premier Division on Saturday 16 November, kick-off 3:00pm at Wincham Park.
For this fixture, we will be applying ground segregation with the home supporters housed in the Wincham End and FC supporters in the Lostock End, which is located at the far end of the ground as you approach it.
Supporters are advised not to bring a bag larger than 20cm x 15cm x 5cm (8" x 6" x 2") with them to the match. This equates to a small handbag, unless it is to carry essential medical or childcare items which you may require during the match.
The Social Club will be open from 1.00pm for both sets of supporters but will stop serving alcohol approximately 30 minutes before kick-off and will NOT open while the game is in progress.
The bar will NOT open at half time but will re-open at full-time when it will be available again to both sets of supporters. The bar will be closed at 6:00pm, however, due to a function taking place at the club.
Alcohol will not be permitted inside the stadium for this fixture.
It’s sixth vs fifth in the BetVictor Northern Premier League as Witton Albion host FC United of Manchester at Wincham Park, kick-off 3:00pm.
Albion enjoyed an excellent 4-1 win on the road last weekend at Mickleover Sports to move level on goal difference with Saturday’s opponents and setting up a mouthwatering game.
A much changed side lost 1-0 at Newcastle Town in midweek, but the confidence from the Mickleover win should still give Carl Macauley’s side a boost ahead of the visit of FC.
United are in a good run of form going into Saturday’s game, with just two defeats in their last 14 outings. Last week, they made progress in the Buildbase FA Trophy with a 3-1 victory at home against Basford United.
With both teams full of confidence, it should make for a great game of football. And with the league standings as they are, there is added importance to keep up with the top sides in the division.
