Witton Albion vs Glapwell Sat 20th Feb

This is a massive game for us now - we are going to need the big man back to lift us for what could be the most crucial game of the season. Win and we are right back in the pile but defeat would be absolutely disastrous. Unless we bring in any new signings the manager has’nt got many options so it’s down to everybody, fans included, digging deep and going for it.

Yes,it’s massive. There are the first signs of the top 4 beginning to ease away from the chasing pack.
The big worry has to be being able to put out a strong 14 man squad.
All other Brigg issues aside we don’t do ourselves any favours turning up for a game with a cobbled together team.

A call from Match Secretary Pete Riley at 10am to say that the Albion Groundstaff have had a good look at the Wincham Park pitch and are confident that this afternoon’s game against Glapwell will be going ahead despite the overnight dusting of snow and freezing temperature.
