Witton Albion vs Glossop North End.

The Groundstaff would appreciate any help to get the pitch ready for the game from 9.30am onwards. The pitch is playable at the moment but it depends on weather conditions throughout the night.

Witton welcome Play Off challengers Glossop North End to The NetDec Stadium on Saturday, in an Evo-Stik Division One North fixture. The Hillmen have adapted to life in the League impressively and will provide the Albion with a tough examination. The fixture will also see the return of some familiar faces to Witton as the visitors have no fewer than five former Albion players amongst their ranks, including the division’s leading marksman Jamie Rainford. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.

Before the game, we will be honouring Witton Albion legend Stuart Cowden who passed away earlier in the week. Stuart’s sons will be in attendance at the game.

This game is a big test for us to see how far we have come under Carl, and I think we will pass that test with a good result. The players have shown their commitment to Witton, so let us all show OUR commitment to Witton by turning up I numbers an cheering the players on.
As this will be Andy Firths last game for us, I would like to thank him for his superb performances he has put in for us, and wish him all the very best in his career. He is surely more than good enough to make it to the top. All the best Andy. UTA.

Will be a good test for our revived team, hope Tom Schofield is fit for today and that Titch is ready to play ? Sad Andy Firth is leaving us he seems so assured which as a young keeper is a great asset, Liverpool have let Fulton leave on loan so I think And will step up to be 3/4 in line at Liverpool, hard to predict the team but I Think it will be ;

Firth

Gards, Wilson Ellison Dawse

Danny Reeves Schofield Parker

Hopley Matthews

with Titch coming back on the bench

Early team news: Goalkeeper Andy Firth plays the final game of his loan spell before returning to Liverpool. Callum Hassan begins a three-match suspension and Alex Titchiner is still missing through injury.
