Witton welcome Grantham Town to The NetDec Stadium on Saturday afternoon in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Gingerbreads have enjoyed an excellent start to the season so far and currently sit in third place in the table, only three points behind leaders Altrincham. Their early season form is progress from the steady campaign they had last season, finishing eighth in the league and also reaching the final of the Integro League Cup where they were beaten by Bamber Bridge at Leek Town’s Harrison Park Stadium. Witton go into the fixture unbeaten in five games in all competitions so will be in positive mood and confident of continuing their good form whilst the visitors will be looking to keep up their great start. Following the transfer of James Walshaw from Farsley Celtic to Scarborough Athletic recently, Grantham now possess the leading marksman in the Premier Division in Lee Shaw, who has found the net nineteen times already this term so Witton will need to keep a close watch on him but then, it isn’t all about one player. Witton will also be looking to move closer to those Play off places, a gap which currently stands at four points. A tough encounter is to be expected. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.

The pick up/drop off points remain the same - Brio Leisure Centre & Witton Chimes. We are sincerely hoping the service will increase numbers using it, particularly new supporters. We are aware that quite a few of the fans using the service would be going anyway, but it is a gesture of goodwill from the club to main core supporters who we value highly. The fees are a contribution towards the costs we incur for the bus.
