Well, they almost saved it against the form team in the league and Grantham always do well here.
An entertaining game today. Grantham are on a run of form and you could see why, They were very organised and played a quick counter game very direct. We played well and had many chances without scoring including the amazing save by their keeper early in the second half when we seemed to have certainly equalised. Had that gone in it could have been so different (and the horrible injury to Paul Williams may not have happened I do hope he is ok). We fought back well to be in with a shout late on, well done to all!
Thought we played quite well and thought the score was ill deserved at 0-3. Pity we couldn’t get on the score sheet earlier as we might have got something from the game. But overall some real positives and no reason to be down-hearted.
