Witton Albion vs Hednesford Town

Witton begin their Easter programme when they welcome Hednesford Town to The NetDec Stadium on Saturday afternoon in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Pitmen have shown a big improvement over the latter part of their league campaign which sees them still have an outside chance of the play offs. The season didn’t begin too well for them after ending last season in fifteenth place in the Premier Division but they have found a bit of form since, even though they have lacked consistency winning only one of the last seven league games. They have also progressed through to the Semi Finals of the Integro League Cup in the last few days. Witton will be looking to get back in the habit of winning again following the disappointing and rather un-expected defeat at the hands of struggling Halesowen Town in midweek but, they will need to work for everything they get from the game. Hednesford will be looking to build on their cup success and they also have the chance to complete the double over Witton following their 1-0 victory at Keys Park earlier in the season. The Play offs are still within reach but it has to start with three points from this game but it won’t be an easy task. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.

A big game to get back on track hopefully, be good to see us back to full strength as well. I would revert to the back 4 that has done well recently McKenna, Humphreys, Wilson and Devine and tweak the midfield with Foley and Owens in the middle Haywood on one wing and Dale on the other and up front Tames and Hopley good luck to the lads UTA

sounds about right to me CJ

I think you might find that there is likely to be at least one enforced change but whatever else might happen is anyone’s guess.

OK but we have a good squad so can cover one missing player, but the good news is the pitch looks perfect and will definitely be ON get down and support the lads UTA
