Witton Albion vs Hyde United.

Witton welcome Second-placed Hyde United to Wincham Park on Tuesday evening, in what is their second home game of the season. The Tigers have begun the campaign in good form and will be tough opponents for Albion. Last season’s games both ended all square as a 1-1 draw at Wincham Park was followed by a goalless draw at Ewen Fields later in the season. Witton will look to continue their good form which has seen them pick up excellent points from two difficult away games at Whitby Town and Scarborough Athletic respectively. Their opening home game against Mickleover Sports proved difficult as we expected but the Albion dug deep to claim all three points with the only goal of the game. Following their opening day defeat to Basford United, Hyde have begun a mini run which has seen them win four successive games, including a win at South Shields to put themselves near the top of the league and they have scored goals in the process. Everyone connected to Witton Albion will be looking to put an end to that run and hopefully starting one of our own. The weekend ahead focusses on other things but the present aim is to pick up three points from this game and build momentum in the league campaign. Kick off at Wincham Park is 7.45pm.

I guess after a decent point at Scarborough it might be same again tonight so team could be :

Chris Renshaw, Jack Byrne, James Short, Josh Wardle, Adam Anson, Liam Goulding, Danny McKenna, Billy Smart, Kyle Hawley, Will Jones, Cesaire Lingouba.

Don’t see many goals so I will go for a 1-0 win for the Albion.

Not sure what else Carl can do. Ryan O’Hare is suspended as well I believe.

My view without Hopley, Foley ,Owens and the players we lost from last season we are struggling to put out a good 11 so it is pleasing to see a few decent results so far UTA.
