Thank you to everyone who contributed to the pitch fund at Saturday’s game which raised a total of £167.

Thank you as always to Tracey Collins for her efforts.

A pretty poor loss and display but really expected nothing when the line up was put out. Hopley, Nugent should have started and to have fullbacks on opposite flanks was odd to say the least. Lancaster dominated and were tougher and hungrier than us. We took too long to change things when we were getting battered! Lingouba was poor today and should have come off not put at full back ? A poor day all round sadly and out of another cup. Going forward, we need a hungry younger fit striker and a full signing for midfield (not a loan player) who can battle in tough games we were easily bullied by Lancaster today!

Great summary from Colin, it is every week we are being ‘‘bullied’’ in midfield. Surely there must be a ‘‘Roy Keane’’ type of young player who wants a chance to play at our level! Liverpool has always been full of these players! I have watched them play for us for years! I am still behind Carl & Gary to find one!
