Biggest game of the season this Battle against the Gladiators. We will have to Caesar opportunity and we could do with a Dean sorry Russell Crowe up front.
As the underdogs we’ll have to try dent their pride.
No aimless roman about, we need to give it some fort.
Colossus game this one, we need to battle from the referee’s first whistle!
Let’s all enter the arena bright and early to encourage the lads.
I’ll throw this one over to Lyon to continue!
Who will spear head the attack then ?
More concerned that we don’t give away any silly goals, don’t want to see any chariot’able defending! Fortunately we don’t have Titus Bramble in our back four!
Good use of the forum.
Column’s more to come yet !
That’s just pillar talk.
Could take a Herculaneum effort to win…
lets go for the win, and leave matlock lion on the floor
Let’s hope Paul Henry is alert enough to heed Ryan’s wall pass.
Yes but APART from heed Ryan’s wall, what did the Romans ever do for us???
They showed Steve how to do it the Foss Way!
Hey, heed Ryan’s wall keeps out them damn Scots, lets be grateful for that. Did anyone see that Maradona type cheating by Thierry Henry? If you get suspended for diving he should get 12 months for what he did so he can join the Irish he cheated, watching the World Cup at home. And please, please don’t say it was “professional”, it was BLOODY CHEATING!!!
WHS.
Ruffer out injured, brodie injured but may make the bench, mose out injured, Booth out injured. :woohoo:
Drivel and titivation ?

Adams, Pritch, Rudd and Neville all played in the back four at Colwyn Bay and we probably defended better than we have in any other game this season!
Defence starts in midfield so especially Henry needs to cover in front of the back four allowing Brad to be the creative playmaker.
at least it seems that the legend will be playing his part in witton going into the nextround.
Let’s hope they don’t get the ball over his head or behind him, big Brian is not the quickest of defenders though is heading and vision are second to none. As for his commitment to the club we all know that is second to none. Best of luck lads.
