Witton Albion vs Mickleover Sports.

Witton welcome Mickleover Sports to The NetDec Stadium on Saturday in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Derbyshire club began the season well taking four points from their opening two games including a draw against Witton at The Don Amott Arena on the opening day. In truth, it was probably a game they edged and were unlucky not to take all three points. They followed that with an excellent result against Shaw Lane two days later in their first away fixture. Since then, they have struggled for consistency and have dropped down the table to 16th a position which they occupied at the end of last season. They have a mixture of youth and experience amongst their squad, managed by former football league player John McGrath and they also have veteran striker Clinton Morrison in their ranks. Witton go into the game on the back of two defeats, one which with no disrespect to their opponents was something of a surprise and then followed it with a really off night at Lancaster in midweek. These things can happen but Witton will be looking to begin another winning run and hopefully get back within touching distance of the leading group. A couple of wins and everything changes again but Mickleover will be in determined mood and provide Witton with a hard test. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.

Can i just add that Jo Heffey is still looking for volunteers for stewarding tomorrow as they are still short. I’m helping, why aren’t you! #UTA

Just to say a cheque for £500 will be presented to the club from sales of the book, many thanks to those who have bought one and remember all £12 of future sales goes directly to the club but their are not that many left so please get yours soon.

Will be another tough test, dont really want to be on a 3 game losing run, be interested to see the team if everyone is fit we do seem much stronger now despite the last 2 results.
If u are desperate and need a steward for the far terrace Ill be there as usual ! UTA

I have a feeling that Owens will be in the side and that we will win 3-1. Mind you, as has been pointed out before on this forum I know nothing about football!!
