Without Wardle, Goulding and Smart, we were always up against it today and even at 1-0 up defeat felt inevitable as we sat back and back conceding possession far too easily. The defence tried valiantly but we are just too negative in these situations and at home too. The only thing proven was we have the best keeper for sure. My MoM was Anson followed closely by Foley, nice goal by us finished well by Mitchley but we still need a striker if we are not going to play Sambor, as we have no pace at all playing this set up. A bad start to the new year unfortunately.
