Witton Albion vs North Ferriby United.

Witton welcome back-markers North Ferriby United to Wincham Park on Saturday afternoon in an Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The Villagers have found life very difficult since their relegation from the Vanarama League North at the end of last season, having won only twice in their 29 league games so far and have lost each of their last nine. Their last win was back in November when they went to Grantham Town and came back with a 2-1 success. The club have recently appointed Joe Lamplough as successorto Paul Foot, who stepped down as manager due to work commitments although, he has stayed on as a player. The season didn’t begin too badly for Ferriby as they had one win - a 3-0 home victory over South Shields and two draws from their opening four games but their form has slumped ever since. Witton go into the game on the back of a defeat at Basford United on Monday night, a game that began well but was then hampered by injuries and player unavailability. They will be looking to put another winning run together starting with the visit of North Ferriby but, these games are never easy as teams in their position always put that little bit extra into it as they are fighting for their lives. Kick off at Wincham Park is 3pm.

Well it should be a 3 pointer but we all know Witton lol, if everyone is fit and well then for me its a no brainer really to go with the side that played so well at Stalybridge, lets hope the mgt can get them focussed and not expect to win. Good luck to the lads UTA
