Witton Albion vs Prescot Cables.

Message from the Groundstaff.

The pitch is fine at present but the forecast is not good for tomorrow morning. Any volunteers are appreciated in order to get the game on tomorrow.

On the advice of the Groundstaff, the club have arranged a pitch inspection for 10.30am on Saturday morning. As previously announced the pitch is fine at the present time but there is bad weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning.

The Groundstaff would appreciate any assistance on Saturday morning in order to get the pitch ready for the game,

Cannot see an issue, no predicted overnight rain, I guess apart from the new keeper starting team might be the same as Tuesday ? Prescot will be looking for revenge from the early season drubbing we gave them- however both teams have lots of new players and new managers so maybe not many remember, a good win Tuesday might lift us for this game and 3 points would be more valuable than cup progress. UTA

Match ON - Planned inspection not required.

Witton welcome Prescot Cables to The NetDec Stadium for an Evo-Stik Division One North fixture this afternoon and will be looking to build on Tuesday night’s Cup success against Burscough. Since the two clubs met at Valerie Park in August, fortunes have been reversed as Cables have seen an upturn in their form since the 6-0 thrashing earlier in the season. A change of manager for both clubs has also seen a change in personnel but this fixture gives Witton the opportunity to complete their first double of the current season. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 3pm.
