5 points off the drop zone. Great battling performance and deserved win I thought. UTA!

Another defeat for Frickley so they are beginning to struggle now. Nantwich have slipped back into it following some decent results, Ramsbottom appear to be climbing away from trouble slowly but those games in hand could prove to be vital.

Witton have now scored 51 league goals this season. Danny Andrews & Jamie Rainford have netted 24 of those between them.

Really pleasing performance today, the lads really fought for it and the passion/commitment was excellent. Glimpses of quality at times and we’re looking more solid at the back, was a bit nervy at 1-0 but once the second went in we could breathe easier.

Sully and all the lads looked chuffed to bits at the final whistle, a good sign of togetherness. First time for a while I’ve walked away feeling good about a performance and the positives for the future. Must also mention Titch, ran his socks off (as did all others) and was unlucky not to have scored himself.

Well done Sully and the lads keep it going :clap

I have said anything we get from any game is good, and to get three points against Skem this afternoon was just amazing and well done to all!

I have also said I will not criticise at all and just support the players out there and that’s what I am doing! Frustration I know plays a part and some surfaced today and was very unfair! Anyway we COULD stay up here let’s all support the team and Sully they all showed a real togetherness and spirit including at the end when we had won COME ON THE ALBIOOOOOON!

Top result against a good Skem team! Well done to every player!!!

Absolute magic that was yesterday! Well done to all. More of the same Tuesday and we’ll be reet.
Have to mention our goalkeeper who in my opinion is absolutely fantastic and our best player over the last month or so. Also to titch who is really getting back to what we know he is capable of…UTA!

good team performance, great result, really dissapointed in the boos sully got by an individual when he took clark off. if your not happy then do one

Great point, keepers rarely get the credit they deserve and ours has been brilliant recently. We’ve had a few between the sticks this season, for me Robertson has been the best by a mile and he’s won us a few points himself over the last few months. Thought it was funny yesterday when a cross came in near the end and one of their players tried to clatter him but just bounced off him and ended up on the deck lol.

Another step closer to safety  never thought we would have beat Skem if iam honest, but we got the bit of luck we needed in a way justice for Tuesday night, if we can follow up with beating Rushall Tuesday that would be great.

In fairness it wasn’t an individual who booed, the whole group where we stand did, but Sully came over at the end of the game (as we all applauded them off) and said Clark was feeling a muscle strain.

But two more wins and we past the magic 50

Our defence has improved greatly, and I think they did brilliant in keeping their No 10, Joe Whittington, quiet. There were several top scouts at the match watching Joe.

Yeah thought he was their best player by a long way. Movement was excellent and was surprised Tommy hooked him at half time as he was their biggest threat
