Although yesterday’s game was in no way a classic what i really enjoyed was seeing the togetherness of the squad, both goals were congratulated by every player and you could see how much it meant, the spirit is as good now as i can remember in a long time and we put in some fantastic tackles for 50/50 balls and ultimately we beat a top 5 side because we wanted it more than them!
For me Sully is doing a fantastic job and although the footballs not pretty he did say we needed to learn to win ugly and were certainly doing that.
On a couple of seperate notes i was amazed to hear a young lad near me moaning about how rubbish Luke Clark is?!! Ive never heard such rubbish in my life but he was telling his mate that he couldn’t understand why he keeps getting picked!
Also i know we dont get a choice about the footballs we use in this league but they really are a poor choice, they always appear flat and make a strange sound when kicked which must frustrate the players
Who still wants to sack Mr Sullivan and Mr Harris?
WHS.
nobody has ever said about sacking the chairman(dont think you can sack a chairman anyway)but still not sure on sully,i can see us scrapping for survival every season while he’s here.just my opinion.
Our form in the last couple of months would easily see us as a top 10 side pushing for play offs, when Sully took over we were bottom of the league and team spirit was poor and as ive said earlier the spirit is superb now, the players and management came into the Social Club at 1 30 yesterday to meet some kids having a birthday party and they were all laughing and joking and was clèar to see this was a happy squad.
Im a huge Sully fan and i cant wait to see how we progress with him having a pre season and a full season and im confident we will be in a much better position

Fantastic result, well done to all, fantastic to hear we’ve got great team spirit ~ don’t think its a new phenomena, (am sure we had it last year in the relegation battle and the year before in the play off achievement and the year before that in the promotion season under Pritch tbh!).BUT massively important at this time of year!
An unexpected and welcome 3 points and puts a nice little 5 point gap in there! A win tomorrow and it could be E.I.E.I.O!!!
