Witton Albion vs Spennymoor Town.

Following three successive trips to Yorkshire, Witton return to home territory for Saturday’s Evo-Stik Division One North fixture when they welcome Spennymoor Town to Wincham Park. The North East based club make the long journey south in good form and currently occupy one of the play off positions in the table but, were rather surprisingly beaten at home in midweek by Brighouse Town. Witton will be hoping to have put Tuesday evening’s “horror show” behind them and recapture the form from the two games prior to that. Kick off at Wincham Park is 3pm.

This will be pretty tough and we need to be at our best, I hope the mgt have a sensible head on and play players in their best positions think I would go with :

Roberts (if fit )

Gards, Lycett, Chadwick, Grayson

Andrews, Roberts, Schofield, Green

Titchener Mathews

Bench : Dawson, Powell, Brownhill, Salmon, Bainbridge

You could argue Dawson for Green and Powell for Schofield/Roberts other than that We could go 5-3-2 if Powell is fit maybe at centre back with Gards and Grayson as wing backs with Green dropping to the bench, guess its hard to pick after 2 decent wins then a horrible defeat ? good luck to the lad anyway UTA

Green has gone C.J., I think you meant Baker.

I certainly did.

Early team news: Goalkeeper Danny Roberts is still missing through injury but Michael Powell could feature.

Spennymoor’s leading goalscorer Liam Henderson is suspended.
