Witton Albion vs Stafford Rangers

There is a Pitch Inspection scheduled for 10.45am on Saturday morning.

Details of the outcome will be posted on here as soon as the decision is announced.

Weather permitting, Witton welcome Stafford Rangers to the U Lock It Stadium in a Northern Premier League Premier Division fixture.

With the midweek trip to Atherton Collieries being postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, Witton have had a full week of inactivity since last Saturday’s home defeat to Stalybridge Celtic so will be hoping to get playing again and hopefully, pick up their first home victory since October when ironically the opposition was Atherton Collieries.

The game at Marston Road ended in a 1-1 draw with Isaac Baldwin on the scoresheet for the Albion so they will be looking to improve on that.

Stafford were in cup action in midweek overcoming Walsall Wood on penalties in the Staffordshire Senior Cup so will be hoping to impose themselves on the game so Witton face another tough game.

Games in midweek didn’t go in Albion’s favour, but we can only control what we do as we look to battle our way up the table and
three points from this game would give the lads a massive boost and push them on for the tough challenges ahead.

Kick off at the U Lock It Stadium is 3pm.
