Witton Albion vs Stafford Rangers

Weather permitting, Witton welcome Stafford Rangers to Wincham Park on Tuesday evening in a re arranged Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture, the original fixture being postponed due to Witton’s cup involvement. The Boro’ find themselves at the wrong end of the table following a poor set of results but will be looking to complete the double over Witton following their 3-1 win at Marston Road earlier in the season. Witton will be looking to continue their improved home form which has seen them sit in ninth place in the league and still with games in hand on the teams above them. Victory tonight would see them rise to eighth and within touching distance of the play offs but with games running out, it appears to be a difficult ask but you just never know with Carl Macauley 's team. Stafford are now under the management of former Witton player Alex Meechan since Steve Burr’s departure and also have a couple of former Witton players in their ranks namely, midfielder Jack Sherratt & striker Ben Mills. They will be hoping to impress themselves on their former employers. Both teams have had a break from competitive action over the weekend due to the weather and they will be wanting to get back playing again. Kick off at Wincham Park is 7.45pm.
