Witton look to extend their unbeaten league run to nine games on Tuesday night as they welcome Stourbridge to The NetDec Stadium in a re arranged Evo-Stik Premier Division fixture. The original fixture fell victim to the weather in February. The Glassboys have struggled for consistency so far this season and find themselves in fourteenth place in the league table and have won only three of their last dozen games in all competitions. Last season saw them finish third before losing out in the play offs. Despite their lowly position, Stourbridge always provide any teams they come up against with a very difficult test as manager Gary Hackett always has them well organised and it proved to be the case in the return fixture earlier in the season which ended goalless. Witton can take a great deal of confidence from their excellent result against fellow promotion contenders Shaw Lane on Saturday not only the result, but the manner in which it was achieved. The gap now stands at three points between Albion and the play off places and with games in hand on at least one of the teams above them the challenge is there for them. Firstly, they have to overcome Stourbridge and keep up the pressure on their rivals before they can even begin to think about games ahead. Kick off at The NetDec Stadium is 7.45pm.
