Six wins from the last seven league games.

Well deserved win against a form team. We looked positive throughout and in the end we could have scored more. Trafford had a couple of chances in the first half that they should have made more of, but in the end were well beaten.

A positive end to the season, whatever the last couple of results, bodes well for next season.

A very good win out chased and out-created a niggly Trafford side who didnt really offer that much ! so all credit to the Witton players, up to a dizzying 8th in the league and after such a poor start and changing almost the whole team that bodes really well for next season, lets get behind the club now and push on for next season. Another good all round performance from the team against a useful Trafford team. Particularly impressed with keeper and solid looking defence. Noticed on three separate occasions Trafford players raising hands towards Witton players not sure if contact was made, but am quite sure had one of our lads had done that a red card would have been shown no messing.

Seriously though how good is Rob Hopley? At one point today he was playing centre half, the lad is quality. The feel good factor is on its way back

Agree mate has to be one of the best players I’ve seen in a witton shirt for a long time, class act. And signed on for next season too I believe B)

Agreed. Hopley was outstanding yesterday once again. Was interested to hear the stats about managers and win ratios. Got to admit I wasn’t happy about Carl but I’ve totally changed me opinion. Only worry is the amount of loan signings but to be fair they’ve all been pretty good.

2 games to go, 6 points and take the momentum to next season. UTA

Carl did say at the forum that given events at the club and the timing he had little option other than to use loan players and that next season will be different as he has a close season and pre-season to work on his own signings. Interesting that no loan players in yesterdays start 11 and I agree some of the loan lads have been brilliant including Reeves, Ellison, Firth, Mullarkey etc I would take them in a heartbeat for next season.
