Witton Albion vs Warrington Town.

Following two impressive away wins against teams at the lower end of the table, Witton begin their festive period with a run of four games against teams all with a realistic chance of the play-offs when they welcome fourth-placed Warrington Town to Wincham Park in a Boxing Day derby. The Yellows under the guidance of former Chester midfielder Paul Carden, have enjoyed an excellent campaign so far and provide Witton with a very tough test as games come thick and fast in a short space of time. Witton have games in hand on almost everybody in the league and if they can put a decent run together, can’t be ruled out of making the top six but, the holiday programme can have a big bearing on that. Previous meetings between the two clubs have been entertaining and this will hopefully be no different. Witton will be looking to improve on their home form this season which has seen them draw four of their eight league games at Wincham Park whilst Warrington will have fond memories of their last visit in a league fixture, which saw them claim all three points in a game of three goals. As we have seen so often in the past, games of this magnitude tend to bring out the best in Carl Macauley 's players and it goes without saying that they will be giving everything they’ve got as they look to continue their current unbeaten run. Kick off at Wincham Park is 3pm.

Well thats Xmas done now back to the Footie and a great Boxing day challenge, lets hope for a decent crowd, a good game and 3 points for the Albion, I guess now we have lost Michael Wilson We can only play 4-4-2 so team wise probably same team that started vs Hednesford , not really what I would pick but heyho we seem to be able to grind out results !
