One word for today’s performance… PATHETIC!!!
We know there’s no disgrace in Losing if you’ve given it your all but not one player can hold their hand up and say they did today and for me that simply isn’t good enough.

One of those days sadly, three very avoidable goals and simply no luck in the final third.

No need to panic like everybody seems to be love to do after a defeat, forget about it and move on!

Know where you are coming from reissing, but it was pretty sh#t though.

Absolutely, let’s start panicking if results don’t go our way Monday.

Forgot to say, thought Titch’s work rate for the entire 90 minutes was outstanding, never stopped running.

Awful. Total rubbish. Defenders, please play the percentage game. We gave a goal away last week and two today.

Why or why do we have 6 players behind the ball against a team with 10 men and 1 up front? Sully - if you cant see it come sit in the stand where it very obvious to see.

Total waste of time money and effort going to the match today.

Just gutted :frowning: can’t believe we started with that awful 3-5-2 when we have in my view the two best wingers in the league, in Danny and Josh! Not gonna panic because we will stay up at a canter, read that on Twitter regarding Titch as well, I must have been at a different game to you lot because no one ran their socks off or even ran in all honesty! And the fact we are praising a player for running all game is measurement of how poor it was, and shouldn’t that be a given for every player?

weather we stay up or not sully has got to go.his tactical know how is nil

One of those games where absolutely nothing, not one bobble of the ball not one won tackle went for us. Credit to Whitby they were determined to recover from a drubbing by FCUM and they did. The three goals though were two long range whacks and one gift, worrying that we created so little but Whitby prevented us from doing so with their pressing game. We need more passion and commitment than was shown today, we’ve had it the last two home games but it seemed to be lacking today. I wasn’t going to go Monday but now I just might to support the team and encourage them to try and stay up, again some of the criticism from the teraces is shocking! COME ON THE ALBIOOOOON!!

Marston Mauler when a team puts in a such a disjointed, lacklustre and heartless performance like today and at a time when it really matters fans are entitled to have a say. It simply wasn’t value for money and fans deserve better, end of.

Criticism from terraces terrible? Are you joking MM? It was awful and if I spend £10 to watch that and travel 60 miles I can have a moan. It was awful and the management doesn’t seem to be able to see what its going on and are relying on Titch or Danny to do something on their own. Clueless.

The criticism is shocking? Well so was that performance! I don’t expect to pay £10 to watch the el classico but I expect to see the eleven lads out there playing with the same pride to wear the witton badge as I do stood behind the goal. I don’t think that’s too much to ask, do you?

Of course you are both absolutely right, we pays us tenner and we are entitled to show our displeasure. Believe me I’ve been rather “vocal” in the past (and was effing and jeffing today) I remember screaming all manner of abuse at Mark Lillis at Runcorn away once…and as for when our conference tenure was slipping away. I’ve just decided not to individually criticise as I was convinced we were going down with a whimper and now we have a chance of staying up. This season has been a real shock with Pritch walking away, I was convinced he would see my life out as manager, then we were third in the table under Sheehan before we fell apart. Sully is finding his feet at this level and MUST be given a proper chance.

So I apologise but I hope my explanation puts across my reasons in a reasonable way??

COME ON THE ALBIOOOON!!

Felt really sorry for Whitby today, came all that way for a game of football and no one was here to give them one. Good to see we’ are still persisting with that successful tactic of feeding smallish forwards with the extremely high balls that they thrive on. I was going to Nantwich on Monday to support the team but after that fiasco I’ll stay in and clean the oven or something. Also, if I want to watch someone running I’d go see Mo Farrah.

Just don’t get all this fans can’t boo and criticise? Where I stand people were leaving saying I don’t wanna boo, rubbish when a team you love and support performs like today, they deserve to be booed, I personally made sure I stayed to the end to make sure I got my moan across!! I would chop an arm off to play one game for Witton, but some of these think turning up for two games a month is ok!

@simmo_on_sport: .@wittonalbionfc record in #EvoStikNPL under Tony Sullivan: P28 W10 D5 L13 F38 A43 Pts35* (*They lost first seven games of his tenure too)”

@simmo_on_sport: To further underline @wittonalbionfc progress under @TonySul; they’d be P7 right now in #EvoStikNPL if season had started on January 1.”

The stats speak for themselves.

Are we going to become one of those clubs who boo after every defeat and cheer after every win!? Bad days happen, we’ve had 2 of them in the past 12, give the players a break.

Shout johnny. I wasn’t a bad defender in my day and I’m only 37 now but I’d love to be in that back four. They, no the whole team need a leader on the field and that’s one thing we’re lacking.

Ha ha I could still do a job

No as said early we aren’t gonna become a team that boos every defeat, but what I will be is booing shocking performances like that! We can accept defeat but lack of effort no chance

Absolute nonsense it wasn’t the defeat that upset fans it was the manner of the defeat. We were completely out muscled today and the management didn’t have the tactical nouse to change it.

Exactly. I’m a proud wittoner and I always will be. I just want the lads on the pitch to feel the same.
