Witton Albion vs Whitby Town.

Well it’s another tough game and looks like a good day for football so get down and give the lads a shout, team wise not had any news on injuries so hopefully a full squad I’d go with :

Renshaw
Baldwin, Anson, Wardle. Short
McKenna, Smart, Goulding, Foley
Mitchell, Sambor

Not sure when Smarts suspension kicks in if it’s today then Owens comes in and still a decent bench the squad is looking a bit stronger. UTA

Witton look to get back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon when they welcome Whitby Town to Wincham Park in a Northern Premier League fixture. Last Saturday saw their unbeaten run come to an end at in-form Radcliffe FC who are also chasing a play off spot so they will want to put that disappointment behind them. The Seasiders made an impressive start to the seasn and Witton came away from The Turnbull Ground with a great point on the opening day but, fortunes in recent weeks for both teams have been totally contrasting. Witton have continued their push for the top five with an impressive set of results particularly at Wincham Park whilst today’s opponents have seen themselves slip down the table following a poor run of form. The goals of striker Bradley Fewster have dried up in recent weeks which hasn’t helped their cause but, they still pose a threat and will be looking to put a dent in Witton’s play off aspirations. Games come thick and fast over the festive period and Witton will be wanting to begin the run of three games in little over a week in the right manner. Two derbies over the holidays are on the horizon but those games are for the future, the main objective is three points from another difficult game. Kick off at Wincham Park is 3pm.
